The Solid Spruce Top Striped Ebony Series comes in three elegant ukulele models that are: concert, tenor, and baritone. The baritone model features a Venetian cutaway and Kula preamp Fishman. The Spruce is known for its clarity, dynamic range, and response, while Ebony gives a high bass and reactive highs for a well-rounded sound profile. Solid wood is the pure and most resonant tone-wood form and needs much greater accuracy to be correctly built. Over time, strong trees create a stronger sound year after year as wood drains. From all concert, tenor, and Baritone models, the Baritone is the one that comes with cutaway and electronics features.
The elegant, Solid Spruce Top Striped Ebony in Concert has everything: excellent tonewoods, well thought out appointments, ornate herringbone rosette, and purfling framed in Mahogany binding – to give it that extra something, something. Spruce is known for its clarity and is consistent, balanced, and has great response, while Ebony provides a strong bass presence and responsive highs for a well-rounded sound profile. This ukulele has a broad dynamic range that works well for both strumming and fingerpicking.
